Keys to Your Promotion!

That you may know...His calling, His inheritance, and His power. (Ephesians 1:18-19)

Jesus is truly amazing! He not only has a Life Plan for us but also gives us the necessary building blocks whereby we can experience His plan in our lives now. In the above verse we read of Paul praying for the believers at Ephesus. In summary, he asks that they would know three things:

The hope of His calling - The Lord wants us to know we are called by Him and the He has a calling for us to grow and walk in. When we know the hope of His calling, we have the basis for a secure walk in Christ, a platform from which to live lives we have already been called to, and a future call to live with Christ forever. Now say, "I've been called."

The riches of His inheritance - We are told that Jesus has been appointed heir of all things (Hebrews 1:2) and that we are joint heirs with Him (Romans 8:16). Thus, the resources of heaven are now made available to us in order to fulfill our call. What do you need in order to complete what God has designed for you? Well, the Lord wants you to know that it's available.

The exceeding greatness of His power - Paul tells us that when Christ was raised up from the dead, we, too were raised up with Him. He wants us to know that the resurrection power is now available to us as well. That is why Paul says that he wants to "know Him and the power of His resurrection." (Philippinas 3:10) You now have heaven's power source available to you and in you.

In summary - It's important not only to know God's plan for your life but also that God equips us with the means of fulfilling His plan. As you follow the above three keys, you will unlock continued elevation of His purpose in your life.
