"What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it" (Luke 15:4)
The fine print! You know, the terms and conditions in an agreement that most typically skip over and sign the bottom line anyway. So it is also in God's kingdom. Many believers are quick to sign up for the "God's Plan for Me" when its all about them. "Bless me, bless me" are the words to their chorus. Blessing is good, but God's plan includes the blessing of others.
Did you k now that in direct proportion to how God blesses you, He also wants to bless others through you? To put it another way: As the Lord works through you to fulfill His purpose on this earth, He will bless you in return.
The above story speaks of that one lost sheep. God has a plan for that sheep, just like He has a plan for you. The question today is will you allow God to use you to go after one and help that person discover his or her Life Plan? How do you find that one? That's easy. Here's how:
The three most wanted - Take a pen and paper and write down the names of three individuals you know who don't have Christ in their lives.
Pray for them - Ask the Lord for wisdom and an opportunity to meet with and share Christ with them.
Step out - Go after one. Pick up the phone, go next door and knock on the door, go somewhere and reach out to one of the three on your list.
This is part of God's plan for you. Yes, you were made for a mission, made to go after one.
